The Eaves design-build process starts by picking your initial configuration.  For many customers, this typically starts with the Foundation 1150 and any add-on modules you wish to complete your first Eaves dwelling with.  You select your options, order the plans, and finalize a project plan with the help of our resources.

Estimated Time: 1-2 Weeks

Eaves provides floor plans to use for plan review and building department reviews.  Every city or county can have specific processes, but we guide you through the deliverables.  The result is obtaining the required permits and approvals to build your Eaves dwelling on your parcel.

Estimated Time: 4-6 Weeks

A local excavation company will prepare and grade your site.  The local gas, water electric and sewer service providers will be contacted at this time.  Foundation will supply foundation drawings which can be completed by a local concrete contractor specific to your installation area.

Estimated Time: 8-10 Weeks

One the foundation is completed and inspected, if applicable, Foundation will schedule your build date.

Estimated Time: 5-6 Weeks

Foundation contractors will build and assemble the shells of your completed configurations.  Typically it will take 2-4 days to build the shell which will include framing modules, windows and doors, siding and roofing.  The shell will be watertight after this process.

Estimated Time: 1 Week

Once the shell is completed, HVAC, electrical and plumbing will be completed before scheduling a rough framing inspection from your local building department.  Upon approval, your wall finishes, paint and drywall will be completed.

Estimated Time: 6-8 Weeks

Once final building inspections are performed, you are then ready to furnish and occupy your new Foundation home.
